Each cellular
rental requires a loss damage waiver (LDW) to protect the renter in the case of loss,
damage, or theft of the equipment provided by Japan Cell Phone Rentals. The
purchased LDW covers those costs from equipment loss over the $100 deductible. The
renter will be responsible for any equipment or articles that have not been returned. In
the case of damage, the LDW covers damage occurring
from normal use of the
cellular equipment. It does not
cover damage caused by malicious use of the phone, damages caused by opening the phone
case, or from any alteration of the equipment. Please review the
Rental
Agreement.
In cases of
loss, damage or theft, it is required that the renter notify
Japan Cell Phone Rentals
immediately, to allow Japan Cell Phone Rentals to terminate the cellular service to the
phone. This notification is required to protect the renter from unauthorized use of
the rented phone and subsequent airtime charges. All Japan Cell Phone Rentals
equipment comes with our telephone number visibly imprinted on it. Once notification is
received, Japan Cell Phone Rentals will take steps to locate the cellular phone.
If the
phone is not located within 12 hours after notification, a replacement phone kit
may be
immediately sent to the renters location to complete the rental
period. If the phone is subsequently found and returned, the deductible charge will
be credited to you but you will responsible for all additional delivery charges. Please
take care not to damage or lose the equipment.
