Japan Cellular Airtime Information  

All Japan Cell Phone Rentals customers may choose to have their airtime charges reconciled with the cellular phones internal timer or with the detailed billing process.

All domestic call data is provided NTT DoCoMo on a monthly basis.  NTT DoCoMo provides the clearest reception with 96% nationwide coverage.  Our airtime rates are based on accumulated airtime usage.  Minutes are charged from actual call time rather than per call made.  In case you are outside the coverage area all JCR cellular phone have internal and external voicemail service .

INTERNAL TIMER
  • The internal timer keeps track of the your incoming and outgoing airtime usage and provides you with instant data on the cellular phone display.  Option A utilizes the internal timer to calculate your domestic call usage.  Please make a note of your total usage before returning the cellular equipment.  

Caution:  Option A domestic airtime minutes are calculated using the phones internal timer.  Tampering with or resetting the timer will can be easily determined by our office.  Customers using Option A who misuse  the equipment in this manner will be informed and automatically billed with the Option B rates (detailed billing). The customer will pay a $100 equipment reset charge.
Detailed Billing

  • Selecting Option B or Option C provides you with data of all your domestic outgoing phone calls. Data will indicate; date, time, number dialed, and length of call.  
Your Statement

  • Statements are processed on a monthly billing cycle. The cycle ends on the last day of each month.  You will receive a detailed statement of your charges by e-mail  between 2 - 8 weeks after the completion of the rental and return of the cellular equipment.   Statement will included all domestic and international airtime charges.  Please contact our office if you have any questions regarding the rental statement or require expedited service.
